I wouldn’t have found my Prince of Wales without online dating

I have found my perfect Prince of Wales!

Having never turned to Internet dating before I made a decision (just for fun!) to give it a go. Back in 2010 after some friends had used it and had dated some lovely persons on the website, outside of the circle of their friends. I thought “ok, why not?”

The first member that caught my eye actually was a lovely Welsh man named James who contacted with me and he was so polite and seemed very lovely. After several emails over two months, followed by a few phone calls we finally decided to meet.

After raised and being born on opposite ends of the world (me from New Zealand and James from Wales) we met finally in person on 27 April 2010 in Sydney, Australia.

The first date was just magical! After a very pleasant taste breakfast in Dee Why, our date continued and we walked along the beach and had some good conversations and then we walked back to Deck23 in Dee Why to have a lunch, drinks and found generally an enjoyment in the company of each other…

Thus ensued an impetuous romance! We decided to live together and after a lot of months of happily living in Narrabeen for James arose a job opportunity in Perth that couldn’t be knocked back.

We took off in June 2011 to start another chapter in Perth, Western Australia and have been living very happily there ever since.

We became engaged on a large rock!

James and I became engaged in Queenstown, New Zealand on 29 November 2011. After an awesome helicopter ride to the top of Remarkables we walked and then sat down on a large rock to feast our eyes upon the beautiful view – this is when James proposed with an incredible Tiffany Novo Ring (my dream ring actually) all while looking over beautiful Queenstown!

We said “I Do” in the same place!

After an amazing engagement celebration over the Christmas 2012 holidays thrown for us in Wales. It just seemed fitting that we said to each other our vows in the same place where James proposed. Of course, we said “I Do” on 18 February 2013 at Millbrook Resort, Queenstown in front of 70 of our friends and family and it was just magical in every way.
