We were so lucky to met each other!

I am so happy I met him before somebody else did

We found each other in October 2011 after less than 3 months each on SilverSingles.com. I liked the thing that he was funny in his frequent messages but decided that we’re just destined to stay friends before we actually met. For the first date we agreed to see a movie and when we arrived at the front door of my home I was surprised at how good he looked in person. So I said in a silly way “Oh! You look great!” He smiled and said “And so do you”. We had a gorgeous night – we held hands and danced. We kissed and for both of us that night it was a moment of wow – he told that he was going home to delete his online dating membership straight away. So I did the same.

We started to live together 4 months later and two weeks ago he asked me to get married bended knee and with a ring! He was 52 and I was 42 when we met.

I can say honestly I felt that it was the most fun and the safest way to “get out there again” after a 14 year marriage. I never hoped to find “the true love” but I’m sure that he is my soul mate. In our nearly three years together we together have bought a house and started a business and our relationship has developed with each moment as we meet each trouble as life partners.

Though he only lived about half an hour away I think I never would have found him without the site’s help. Before I met him I dated four other members each once or even twice and those dates were pleasant but without a real spark – but luckily I found my husband before some other women did!

My husband and I were so lucky to get married in our beautiful garden – he is a great stepfather and our life is happy!
